鹿児島で高校生まで過ごし、バブル期に東京で大学生活を謳歌し、大学卒業後も1年と短い期間ではあったが、流行り？の語学留学し、第二新卒のような形で前職に就職したのが1989年、パリ200年祭の初夏だった。
外資系の地上手配代行業の会社は確か5周年、活気あふれる若い会社でした。
その会社で今も適時指導を受けているMentorと出会い、Don’t　Quitの教えを受け、
今日もたぶん生涯肝に銘じておこうと考えている。
コロナ禍、ロシア　ウクライナ侵攻、起こり得ることとはいえ想定外の長期間に及ぶ影響で、
人生のあらたな一歩を踏み出す判断をした社員、知人が周りに多くいる現状では、人生の第4コーナーに差し掛かった今、日々自問自答している自分がいるが、結局弱い人間、新しい道、一歩は踏み出せずにいる。　
前職で若いころ民間外交という言葉に心躍らせた日本と海外相互交流を退職するその日まで踏ん張っていこうと考えている。

And you never can tell how close you are.
It may be near when it seems afar;
So, stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit –
It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.
